Welcome to the 2026 World Bodyboard Championship – 3rd Edition, the highly anticipated third chapter of this premier event on the Global Bodyboard Tour in Morocco. Building on the success of the previous editions, this year’s championship will take place at the iconic bodyboarding spots of Anchor Point and Anza in Agadir.
The competition will be held in two phases:
- January 31 to February 1, 2026 – Junior Men Category
- February 2 to February 12, 2026 – Men Prime Category
The championship will welcome elite bodyboarders from around the world, delivering intense and spectacular performances. Beyond the competition, the event will also include masterclasses, community activities, and discovery sessions, designed to promote bodyboarding and inspire the next generation of riders.

The 2026 World Bodyboard Championship – 3rd Edition will offer a new prize structure distributed across the two competing categories: Junior Men and Men Prime.
The prize money reflects the level of the competition and the importance of the event on the international bodyboarding calendar, rewarding performance, commitment, and excellence throughout the championship.
Spot ANZA
Anza is an exposed beach break in central Morocco offering fairly consistent waves. The spot works best in winter, with northeast offshore winds and northwest swells. Waves mainly break to the right, and the area is generally uncrowded, even on good days. Water quality may vary.
